Hello everyone, and welcome to AP Ballparks! I started this website to share all of my ballpark travels with anyone that is interested in seeing them. I have been fortunate enough to travel to many different ballparks, and have some experiences of a lifetime because of baseball. Like many of you, 2020 was life changing. It took some time for me to find where I fit in the game as a baseball fan because of some things that changed in baseball last winter. My hometown lost our affiliation, and I haven’t had the desire to go to baseball games at the top level. Before that, I was traveling to numerous ballparks every year, with the goal of seeing every MLB stadium.
When things closed down in 2020, I turned to my other hobby in gaming. There were baseball players playing in the MLB The Show Players Tournament, and I began to find an interest in watching Twitch streams. This was at the exact same time I was moving my gaming room into my basement surrounded by my baseball memorabilia. Just a few weeks later, I started streaming on Twitch for the first time. My community has been able to see some of the items in my gaming room, but haven’t seen the ballpark photos/experiences. I decided to create this page a few days before making this post as a way to share these experiences with everyone. It’s also a great opportunity to interact with anyone interested in more information on a city or ballpark I’ve been to.
My main goal in 2021 is to visit baseball stadiums with rich history and share them with everyone. I would love to hear any feedback on places to visit/share on the blog, especially in the midwest! Any feedback can be sent on my Discord page, social media, or when I stream Fri-Mon 11PM-2AM CST on Twitch.
The AP Gaming Podcast is a podcast that shares first hand baseball experiences, along with streaming tips for newer streamers. If you’re interested in hearing about the game of baseball from another angle, click the AP Gaming Podcast tab at the top of the screen. I usually have a weekly episode depending on my schedule.
