Today marks a special day. It’s the first time I’ve been to a sporting event since February of 2020! I went to the same place as where I went to my last sporting event, The University Of Iowa. In 2020, I attended a wrestling meet before COVID shut everything down. Today, it was all about baseball. The Hawkeyes won big today, and it felt great being in a stadium atmosphere again! I’ve never been a very big college sports fan, but it will be an adjustment. The stadium was very nice with an all turf field. While walking around, I noticed a banner saying a new stadium is part of the future for the Hawks. Iowa looks good this year, and they’re on a nice winning streak.
