It’s been an exciting weekend, and we topped it all off by going to my first NFL game! I was a couple hours away from the DFW area with family, so I headed back to Arlington early Sunday morning. I wasn’t sure to be more excited for this game, or the Rangers game. As a big baseball fan, I felt like the baseball game had to come first. However, there was something different about this experience. Make sure to check out the video right below this paragraph for a time lapse video, and some other great footage! Also, make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to see where I end up catching a game next.
The seats we were in couldn’t have been better! When I used to live in Dallas, I knew some great people that always helped with making my ballpark experiences awesome, and they did the same for the Cowboys game. I’d like to say thank you for all of the great help.
The first thing I thought of when I heard about this game was that the 2020 runner up for the Heisman trophy was playing for the Jaguars. I was looking forward to watching him play, and I think he’s an instant impact for Jacksonville. The cowboys were still waiting to use Dak Prescott, and the rest of their starters sat out of the game. With it being the last preseason game, all of this was expected. The main factor of this game, was the experience with the great seats we had.
I’m looking forward to seeing how Jacksonville is this year. I like their team, and they picked a great quarterback to lead them. While I’m not much of a football person, I really enjoyed the experience of taking in an NFL game, especially in a stadium like AT&T Stadium. It’s a very special place with one of the most iconic teams in all of football. The only other time I’d been to AT&T Stadium, was over three years ago when they had a PBR rodeo. I wanted to see the inside of the stadium, and the rodeo was much more affordable at the time.
As always I’ll leave pictures below. Thank you for stopping into the blog! With Labor Day coming up, and the playoffs shortly after, I haven’t made plans for the next few weekends yet. Be on the lookout for more posts from me!
